Just say it already..

OK so here I am on this beautiful Sunday writing my blog, watching Bravo and like most of you Sunday is the day we pull our shit together and ramp up the energy to face another week.  We make this deal with ourselves that this week will be the week we make a difference in ourselves and in our homes. This is the week I finish my never ending to do list eat the right foods and workout, already makes me tired :)

We are going to be ahead of that huge rock that starts rolling the minute our alarm goes off Monday morning.  It really does work to start the day off positive and productive. It makes this crazy time as a mother feel less exhausting and more enjoyable when your life is pulled together and strings are tied up. 

So this is something I want to share.  Today put on the fridge a list of what you are going to make for dinner this week.  Monday-Sunday than check your fridge and pantry and make sure today that you have all the ingredients to make some kick ass dinners this week. This is a great trick to make that dinner dance run smoothly.

1.  Keep all ideas and lists in one three ring binder.
2.  Make a list of goals for each room.
3.  Tackle one room at a time.
4.  Set a timer for smaller organizing tasks
5.  Get rid of two articles of clothing for every one you buy.             
6.  Keep a trash can (hidden of course) by the front door.
7.  Donate unwanted clothes and toys once a quarter.
